Volunteers are expected to have a good standard of numeracy and literacy; to be able to work as part of a team; to be committed to the work and aims of the Leicester Community Advice and Law Centre. We ask volunteers to make a commitment to at least 6 months and to attend for a minimum of one half-day per week. We offer volunteers training and support, to help them develop the skills they need to carry out the tasks allocated to them and to achieve their longer-term career aims.
As a small charity, we have a limited number of volunteer placements available at any given time. Whilst we endeavour to respond to enquiries, it is not always possible for us to do so.
